Tende has over a decade of experience in the international development sector and has worked across multiple countries and contexts, championing scalable, locally grounded education solutions. She has spoken on numerous panels on how to implement education innovations at scale, drawing from her experience working directly with government and community partners to design solutions that are both effective and sustainable. Tende has worked across multiple countries, including Liberia, Uganda, Mozambique, and Zambia, training hundreds of local leaders annually and managing partnerships with development organizations to scale education and health-focused interventions. She holds a master’s degree in Development Studies and a BA in Humanities (University of Botswana). She is currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation at the Institute of Development Management.
