We’re excited to announce that our flagship evidence-based health education program formerly known as Zones, is now called Choices!

We love that the new name perfectly reflects the program’s focus on supporting young people in making healthy and informed decisions. ‘Choices’ truly reflects the essence of the program. The name change comes after extensive consultations with government partners, team members, donors, and—crucially—the young people we serve. We are grateful to everyone who helped us distill the essence of the program into the intuitive and accessible ‘Choices’.
While the name has changed, the program objectives and delivery remain the same. We remain dedicated to reducing pregnancy and HIV rates among adolescents through our proven approach. Choices continues to be delivered in schools across Botswana, where we see larger reach numbers term on term as we scale the program.
We are excited to continue working with the Government, schools, students, and funding partners under this new banner, and look forward to seeing the new name and brand identity come to life over the coming months and years. In particular, look out for an upcoming blog series documenting everything we’ve learnt on the Choices journey so far.
